"Peace Hanger"

INSTRUCTIONS

Stamp Chinese newsprint stamp on paper

1. Cut that paper to size and put aside
2. Using a piece of foam square (any color) cut out a square piece a little bigger than the stamped newsprint.
3. Staple a piece of ribbon 1/2" or 1/4" to the foam, laying the string shiny side down, making a handle and staple the other side down the same way. Ribbon can be whatever length you desire. I prefer a short hanger.
4. Using mounting tape, attach newsprint stamp to your foam. Pub aside.
5. Stamp Oriental Flower, bonsai plant and lantern on paper. Wait until it dries and then color in the stamps.
6. Cut out all pieces, do this slowly, you are going to try and get close to every detail without clipping anything off!  This looks nicer than leaving a lot of paper around the images.
7. Use mounting tape to attach all the three designs to newsprint. It's up to you where to place them!
8. Using the small Chinese brush alphabet set, stamp the word PEACE using a red ink pad. Color around the letters in a square shape and with mounting tape attach to your piece of art and that's it !
